Position Summary:

The Social Media Intern will play a key role in supporting our social media initiatives and contributing to the development and execution of our social media strategy.

This role offers hands-on experience in managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize our online presence and enhance brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

Assist in creating highquality, engaging content for our social media platforms, including but not limited to posts, images, videos, and stories.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and brainstorm creative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives.

Social Media Management:

Monitor and manage our presence on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive engagement and building relationships with our audience.

Community Engagement:

Proactively engage with our audience by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content, participating in discussions, and following industry influencers and trends.
Identify opportunities to collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other partners to amplify our reach and enhance brand visibility.

Analytics and Reporting:

Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics across social media platforms, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Compile regular reports summarizing social media performance, trends, and insights, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.

Research and Trend Analysis:

Stay uptodate with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and content creation.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to inform our social media strategy and content development efforts.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
Strong passion for social media and digital marketing, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and content creation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging and compelling copy for social media posts and captions.
Creative thinker with a knack for generating innovative ideas and concepts for social media campaigns and initiatives.
Proficiency in using social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics).
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
