Proxy Profiles is seeking a talented and experienced Data QA professional to join our remote team.

As a Data QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data, BI, and ETL processes.

If you have a strong background in data testing, SQL query writing, and a passion for maintaining data accuracy, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Data/BI/ETL testing with a focus on ensuring data quality and integrity.
Validate databases and ETL processes, including Data Quality (DQ) rules and transformations.
Write complex SQL queries to perform data validation and testing.
Proficiency in Data Warehousing concepts, including FACT and DIM tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), ETL processes, and report testing.
Handson experience with Snowflake and AWS-S3 Files.
Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), regression tests, and prepare detailed test summary reports.
Determine the appropriate test types, such as data validation, regression testing, and others as required.
Utilize test management tools like JIRA for test planning and tracking.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW) concepts.
Experience working in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
Familiarity with visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI, is preferred.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of handson experience in Data/BI/ETL testing.
Strong skills in SQL query writing and database validation.
Proven experience in Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and report testing.
Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS-S3 Files, and other datarelated technologies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detailoriented with a strong analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Strong problemsolving skills and a commitment to data quality.
Certification in relevant testing methodologies is a plus.
