Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Customer Service Representative with a strong background in science and technical fields to join our dynamic team.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, and resolving technical issues.

Your scientific and technical expertise will be essential in assisting customers with product-related questions and ensuring their satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


  • Address customer concerns and resolve technical issues related to our products or services.
  • Utilize scientific and technical knowledge to assist customers with complex inquiries, troubleshooting, and providing detailed explanations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including sales, product development, and quality assurance, to gather and communicate customer feedback, identify trends, and contribute to product improvement.
  • Keep abreast of the latest scientific and technical developments in the industry to enhance your product knowledge and customer support capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or crossselling products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Strive to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, response time, firstcall resolution, and sales targets.
  • Continuously improve customer service processes and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate and uptodate information to customers.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a sciencerelated field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) OR a 10+2 (high school) diploma with a strong science background.
  • Previous experience in customer service or technical support roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific and technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot customer issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and handle customer inquiries during nonstandard working hours if required.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
