1. Job Description Details**
Role Title: IT Auditor

What is expected from the role?

Years' Experience Required: 3-4 years

Responsibilities:

Understand business & industry issues / trends. Identify areas requiring improvement in the client business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.
Provides guidance to software development teams regarding software process implementation and process adherence.
Work with Process governance team and domain stakeholders on goal and objective setting as well as strategy development to ensure process improvement looks evident and process alignment with business needs and regulatory requirement.
Ensure that internal quality audits effectively support the business process compliance & regulatory requirements.
Functions in various roles on audit engagements, including leading audits, planning audit, providing consulting or oversight functions based upon the needs of team.
Follow up and perform the validation of remediation activities to ensure audits issues/observations are effectively resolved.
Evaluate technology and business vertical and its respective controls for operational effectiveness.
Develops a through understanding of the Apex Funds Process governance and audit methodology and adheres to all applicable department standard.
Work closely with the function owners and unit managers to devise specific technology related audit tests.
Facilitate and support the external assessment/certification audit programs.
Provide meaningful business insights to all stakeholders; indepth statistical analysis, defects, exceptions and trends leading to performance enhancement & client experience.
Identify the process gaps and waste elimination and implement the sixsigma project.
Identify and develop the gap analysis report along with the proposed solution with the help of different 7 QC tools.

Skills Required:

Experience working as an external IT auditor/internal IT auditor/ or IT risk adviser.
Ability to manage several projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
Solid understanding of information technology general controls (ITGC) in addition to knowledge of non ITGCs (Configuration Management, Vendor Management, ITSM controls, Incident & Change Management, problem management).
Knowledge about Vulnerability management & Controls
Strong understanding of Risk Management and Lifecycle.
Knowledge of IT standards, frameworks, and best practices. (e.g., ISO27001, COBIT, NIST)
Knowledge of auditing IT general controls covering the areas of Logical Access Management, Change Management and Operations.
Knowledge of technology controls around cloud environment reviews (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Excellent report writing skills
Experience with the use of Lean/Six Sigma tools.
Knowledge about the ITSM tool and configuration. E.g., Jira, Service Now, Fresh Service

Experience Requirement:

Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B Tech.) ideally in the (CS, IT, E & Tc ) Software Engineering, Software Quality, or related field (advance degree plus)
Minimum 34 years of auditing and systems experience.
23 years of Experience in Information security audits, ITIL v 4 audits, QMS audits.
Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 27001:201
Experience with auditing procedures and technical security concepts
Ability to develop relationships with diverse groups and various levels of technology and nontechnology personnel
Ability to adapt and react positively in a changing and dynamic work environment
Ability to proactively assess issues, identify solutions and problem solve.
Relevant industry certifications such as CCISA, CIA or ITIL v 4 will be plus.
Certified Six Sigma Green/Black belt will be plus.
Strong knowledge about the Agile Framework.
