Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries.

Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer role hands-on experience with Kubernetes technology.

Person would be responsible for design, automate and deployments on specific cloud platforms/container platforms, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, building and maintaining Containerized Cloud hosted SaaS solutions
Improving the reliability of SaaS Solution with focus on security.
Putting everything as code
Working in close collaboration with multifunctional teams
Participate in continuous improvement of architecture, infrastructure, processes focusing security including influence on the strategic direction and technology used for development
Participate in scrum planning and tracking including task investigation, work breakdown and estimation

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master / Bachelor level); Minimum 8 year of experience
24 years handson experience on Kubernetes based container platforms (i.e., Openshift, AWS EKS)
Strong knowledge of systems (Linux, GNU tooling), networking (OSI model, DNS, routing) and virtualization vs containerization
Security & Compliance awareness
Handson experience with IAC & Configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Public clouds; AWS/Azure/GCP
Openshift or Kubernetes certification preferred (CKAD/CKA)
Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) certification preferred
