Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning:
Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans that outline test scope, approach, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
Test Case Design:
Create detailed and well-structured test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
Ensure test cases cover various scenarios, including positive and negative testing.
Manual Testing Execution:
Execute test cases manually to identify defects, ensuring software meets specified requirements.
Record and document test results, providing detailed information about discovered issues.
Regression Testing:
Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been addressed and new functionality does not introduce additional issues.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand the software development life cycle and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes.
Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress.
