Your key responsibilities

Take responsibility for your own engineering delivery to drive a reduction in technical debt across the production environment with development and infrastructure teams.
Carry out technical/Functional analysis of the Production platform/Application to identify and remediate performance and resiliency issues.
Engage in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance Production Standards and controls.
Understanding the SDLC Toll Gate review process and documentation.

Your skills and experience

Understanding and working knowledge of the incident, problem, change management process. Conversant with disaster recovery methodologies and possess working knowledge and experience of performing DR tests.
Extensive working experience in providing L3 support (preferably in a banking environment)
Excellent working experience of Unix/Linux, scripting (any language), Java, Control-M scheduler, Splunk, New Relic or similar monitoring tool, middleware (such as Message Queue (MQ), Solace, Kafka) and database Oracle, MS Structured Query Language (SQL), Database performance analysis
Knowledge of operating infrastructure on any public cloud (e.g., Google Cloud Platform [GCP]) as a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/DevOps
Change Process Knowledge.
Expertise in Oracle and Unix
Exposure to KanBan Agile methodology

Soft skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Share skills and knowledge in a wide range for topics relating to software delivery.
Lead, mentor and teach other junior members.
