Job Description:

Foreign Trade activities:

Ensure effective clearance of imports shipments (Air & Sea) in ports for on time delivery of goods to plants by ensuring following operational activities:
Advance BOE filing, FTA (Free Trade Agreement), coordination with other regions for missing FTA benefits, Customs duty payment tracking, BOE amendments tracking, Additional cost control, Bond and BG activities, Co-ordination with CHA and Solving queries at the time of clearance

Tracking of shipments through DSR (Daily Status Report) and check with CHA (Customs House Agent) for any discrepancies.

Coordinate with plants/CHA to ensure timely dispatches of export shipments

Ensure realization of export benefits:
DBK (Duty Drawback), RODTeP and issuance of REX certificate

Develop Master Data for CTH/HSN (Custom House Tariff) for all part numbers related to RO-IN plants

Conduct monthly meeting with LSPs for performance improvements

Monitor, Track and Develop LSPs to avoid demurrage and late filing charges

Track customs and brokerage charges for RO-IN plants

Monitor and implement containment actions to bring down demurrages

Registration of SIMS (Steel Imports Management System) in DGFT system (Director General of Foreign Trade)

Aware of Customs and Foreign trade policy to handle any compliance topics

Close coordination with CHA and Insurance Company claims.

Internally co-ordinate with Re-export and Re-import shipments

SVB coordination with Central TAX and preparation of refund wherever applicable

Digitalization / Project Management/Analyst Skills:

Knowledge of Processes and Digital Transformation in Supply Chain Logistics.

Refine the Digitalization strategy & lead value extraction from existing execution.

Drive digital transformation in Foreign trade.

Take over the Digitalization exercise across Foreign trade. Identify and procure/develop software to digitize offline processes.

Lead all projects from identification till implementation while working with stakeholders across functions.

Lead time and supply chain cost reduction

Design tailor made supply chain network for RB.

Implement & optimize Bosch Foreign Trade activities.

Active contribution within tender phase with purchasing on IT topics.

Collaborate with different stakeholders (LSP, Purchasing, Tax, Plant and Customer).

Qualifications:

Graduate / Post graduate - preferably International Trade / Foreign Trade

10-12 years of experience in supply chain area and familiar with Foreign Trade (Export & Import) customs clearance activities, Transportation and Warehousing.
