Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMC Operator to join our Manufacturing team.

The VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Center machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.

This role plays a crucial part in maintaining our commitment to high-quality manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup:
Prepare VMC machines for production runs, including tool selection, loading materials, and machine calibration.

Operation:
Operate VMC machines to produce components with precision, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Tool Changes:
Perform tool changes and adjustments as needed during production runs.

Quality Control:
Inspect workpieces for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.

Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance tasks on VMC machines to ensure they operate smoothly.

Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Problem-Solving:
Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a VMC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
Degree in ITI, DME, B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering).
Knowledge of VMC machine setup, operation, and tool changes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Attention to detail and precision.
Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
