The Role Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • Ensure that the data generated from our end is in adherence with laid down procedures.
  • To adhere and process, as per the instructions in documented procedures.
  • Ensure correctness and accuracy of the data that is being processed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take accountability and follow existing operational processes / controls and suggests, if changes required with a view to mitigate operational risk.
  • Comply with all applicable rules / regulations of the Company / Group policies and adherence to Group Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure that errors are highlighted or reported on the same day of identification to the Supervisor / Line Manager.
  • Execute transactions within the agreed timelines and accuracy, as specified in the Service Level Agreement.
  • To identify and report all exceptions on noncompliance with standard controls.
  • Processing as per departmental operating instructions manual / process note.
  • Recommend process / workflow changes for greater efficiency and control.
  • To identify and report all weaknesses inherent in the standard controls.
  • Upholding the values of the Group and the Company at all times.
  • Should crosstrain oneself with other processes in the unit.
  • To escalate exceptions to the Supervisor / Line Manager.
  • To ensure errors are identified and recorded on time.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Bachelor's degree in financial management or relevant major.
