Job Purpose


Our Operations Academy training program is specifically curated for our organization, to lay the foundations to excel as Operations personnel, and in our careers.

Through this bespoke training program, we are investing in our People and their career development at Citi


The principals and behaviors laid out in terms of Client Centricity, Continuous Improvement, Risk & Control and Collaboration, Impact & Influence are the key themes covered in the training.

The curriculum creates an opportunity for our People to meet and network with Global colleagues and share experiences along with learnings and real case studies.


Training Expectations:


  • Being knowledgeable about key behaviors within Operations, and expectations at each corporate level vs the 4 key themes
  • Partnering with the central OA Leads and Sponsors to help deliver first class training across the Operations Organization
  • Delivering the expectations of the training objectives to a high standard
  • Supporting employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organizing the resources to facilitate training curriculum

Training Delivery:


  • Connecting with the audience being able to communicate, explain and illustrate concepts
  • Encouraging and supporting an engaging environment for trainees to openly participate
  • Communicating to individuals with varying learning styles
  • Ability to be flexible, think creatively and adjust training delivery to meet the needs of the learners

Strategic Training Development:


  • Helping assist with training additional trainers throughout the Organization
  • Seeking feedback from cohort, and analyzing results for areas of improvement for the training curriculum
  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training curriculum
  • Researching and recommending new training techniques, adjusting the curriculum, and updating it to reflect developments within the industry

People and Culture Agenda:


  • Engaging with and leading our People. Developing effective and diverse teams across a global footprint
  • Coaching and mentoring our People. Ensuring effective one to one discussions. Providing direction, feedback, support, and encouragement for career development
  • Championing diversity and inclusion to create a working environment which allows our People to thrive and excel

Qualifications and Skills:


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 8+ years work experience
  • Teaching /Coaching / Training/ Communications experience required
  • Experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions and Operations knowledge preferred
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add impact
  • Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise
  • Selfreliant, good problem solver, results oriented
  • Ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the Organization
  • Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.
