Social Media Executive


Job Description:


The Social Media Executive is a key member of the marketing team responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization's social media strategy.

This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to effectively engage audiences, build brand awareness, and drive business objectives across various social media platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing goals, target audience, and brand identity. Identify key platforms, content themes, and messaging strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including written posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia formats. Curate usergenerated content, industry news, and trending topics to supplement the content calendar and drive conversation.
  • Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive interactions, address customer concerns, and build relationships with followers to cultivate an engaged and loyal community.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote product launches, events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI, to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts. Prepare regular reports and insights to track progress, identify trends, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, bloggers, and industry thought leaders to amplify brand reach and credibility. Collaborate on sponsored content, partnerships, and cobranded initiatives to leverage their audience and expertise.
  • Paid Social Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. Set targeting parameters, manage budgets, and monitor performance to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives.

Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practices. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Collaboration and Crossfunctional Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, customer service, and product development, to align social media efforts with broader business objectives. Communicate effectively to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Additional certifications or coursework in social media marketing is a plus.
  • 5years of experience in social media management or digital marketing roles, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for organic and paid content distribution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make datadriven recommendations for optimization.
  • Creative thinking ability, with a passion for exploring new trends, formats, and strategies to captivate audiences and drive results.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and problemsolving skills.

Salary:
From ₹30,000.00 per month
