About the Role

As a Database Administrator at iTech, you will be responsible for the efficient and secure management of our database systems.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of our databases, working with a range of database management systems including Postgre SQL, MS SQL, and Redis.

If you are a database professional with 6-8 years of experience and a passion for maintaining the reliability and accessibility of data, we'd love to have you on board.

Roles and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain our database systems, ensuring data security and optimal performance.

Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures.

Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and availability.

Implement and manage data access and security policies.

Stay up to date with emerging database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications and Key Skills
6-8 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator.

Proficiency in managing Postgre SQL, MS SQL, and Redis database systems.

Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and performance optimization.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.

Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.

Any relevant certifications or qualifications are a plus.
