Responsibilities for School Counselor
l Respond effectively to crises affecting students.

l Provide mental health and behavioral counseling to students

l Recognize and appropriately take care of individual students' socio-emotional challenges

l Submit referrals to school authorities as necessary for students' well-being

l Coordinate and facilitate groups for students, such as for improving social skills or addressing behavioral challenges


l Complete regular reports, such as session notes and incident reports, and submit them to the Principal for appropriate action.

l Collaborate with teaching staff to determine how best to meet individual students' needs

l Work with school faculty and staff to develop plans for maintaining the well-being of individual students and of the student population as a whole


Qualifications for School Counselor

  • Master's degree in counseling/Psychology
  • Knowledge of multiple counseling approaches
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms
  • 3+ years of experience working as a counselor in any school/college
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Empathy and sensitivity to others' needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication

Education:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed university.
Experience:4-8 years of relevant experience

Excellent communications Skills


Salary:
₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
