About the Role


The Whatfix mobile team is looking for a Mobile Designer to join the team in defining our Digital Adoption offerings for the deskless workforce to help our customers with onboarding, simplifying complex tasks, training, and feedback.

This is a great opportunity to help shape the mobile product offering and define a mobile design system and interaction design approach for Whatfix.


You will work with a team of Product Managers, Engineers, Product Marketers, and Data Analysts as well as the broader Design and Research organization to create exceptional mobile experiences focused on the needs of our content creators and their end users.


You have a deep understanding of Apple's human interface design guidelines, Android and iOS design, and other mobile platform designs, including Google's material design and a demonstrated track record of creating accessible and intuitive mobile experiences.


You have excellent user interaction and graphic design skills with a developed sense of typography intuitive mobile-first layouts and the ability to show relevant work.

You are a team player who fosters cross-functional collaboration and communicates clearly.

You've led design on a few mobile projects from research, and definition, through design, collaborating with engineering for building, testing, and launch.


You pay attention to the user's full end-to-end experience and prioritize creating value-driven experiences that are unified, intuitive, and delightful and that are validated and informed by user insights.


Craft requirements:


  • 35 years of experience in Product Design, UX, UI, HCI, or related field with a focus on mobile design
  • A bachelor's or higher degree in interaction design, humancomputer interaction, cognitive science or related field
  • Excellent understanding of userexperience design for mobile and demonstrable user interaction design skills, as well as graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography and intuitive layouts and the ability to show relevant work
  • Have developed intuitive, usable, accessible, and engaging interactions and designs for mobile
  • Deep understanding of Apple's human interface design guidelines, Android and iOS design and other mobile platform designs, including Google's material design.
  • A portfolio of work across platforms, including Android and iOS
  • Our teamwork in Figma and experience with this tool is ideal

  • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing and Data Analysts as well as the broader Design and Research organization to create exceptional experiences focused on the needs of our content creators and their end users
  • Able to navigate through ambiguity, advocate for design by effectively explaining design choices and presenting work crossfunctionally, and find effective solutions
  • Lead design in the product development process from research, and definition, through design, build, test, and launch
  • Strategically plan and collaborate with our mobile product and engineering teams to shape our future offerings
  • Foster a unified, endtoend experience for our mobile users that takes into consideration the entire Whatfix experience
