Description
1. Receiving and inspecting incoming materials and supplies to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.- Recording and updating inventory levels of materials and supplies in the system to ensure accurate tracking.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocks.
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Issuing materials and supplies to construction workers as per their requirements.
- Maintaining proper documentation of all transactions related to inventory, such as receipts, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Ensuring that the storage area is organized, clean, and safe, and that all materials and supplies are stored in the correct location.
- Performing regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies or damaged items and taking appropriate actions.
- Collaborating with the construction team to identify the materials and supplies needed for each phase of the project.
- Generating reports on inventory levels, usage, and procurement, and presenting them to the management team.
The construction stores/inventory clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring that the construction project has the necessary materials and supplies to operate efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Salary:
₹8, ₹25,462.35 per month
