Position:
Contract - Designer Process (SPPID )


JOB PURPOSE:


  • The graphics operator is responsible for electronic drafting of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) for Air Products Operations and Engineering organizations with the guidance under Engineer
  • The work is all 2D drafting, typically working from hand markups from the Process and Process Systems engineers

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Carrying out drafting of the PFD & P&ID graphics with guidance of designer and closely working with engineer
  • Accurate drafting from hand markups and self checks
  • Accurate data entry for attributes behind the P&ID graphics

DRAFTING TOOLS:


  • The drafting tools used: (SPPID) Smart Plant PID

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Diploma engineer in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Having minimum 5 years of experience using smart plant P&ID software for drafting P&IDs
