  • What I'll be doing your accountabilities
  • Adopting and implementing appropriate agile methodologies to continuously improve and release value sooner to our customers
  • Demonstrate use of metrics/data to inspect team maturity, inefficiencies, predictability, and areas for adaptation
  • Facilitating Scrum Events such as sprint planning, retrospectives and daily scrums where appropriate
  • Helps the team to focus on delivery of high quality stories on a predictable, sustainable cadence.
  • Play an active role within the agile community to grow our talent and bring new experiments to the table
  • Use data with the squads and stakeholders to optimise ways of working
  • Shielding the squad and removing impediments and/or dependencies
Experience you would be expected to have

  • 23+ years (preferred) working within an agile environment as a Scrum Master within a scrum team
  • Working experience software delivery in an Agile environment
  • Experience of resolving problems / issues / technical blockers
  • Detail and working knowledge of modern Agile development processes in a large, fast paced, Digital environment
  • Awareness of API development and integration
  • Implemented changes to ways of working to improve Digital development
  • Solid people engagement skills able to bring people together to work closely
Skills required for the job

  • Recognised Scrum Master Certification
  • Demonstrable experience using Scrum/Lean and Kanban
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) and ability to collaborate/support technical experts
  • Applied experience of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills at appetite for challenging the status quo
  • Track record of implementing improvements which has released value or efficiencies faster to the business/customers
