Position:
Electrician


Job location
The position is based at Dahod Gujarat and occasionally it can be required to travel.


EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

  • Experience of working in Plant maintenance (PREFERABLY 69 years).
  • Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems preferable.
  • Hands on experience of Railway OHE, Switch yard, 25KV & 11KV.
  • Hands on experience of Power and control system (Plant equipment's).
  • Experience of plant utility maintenance (Air compressor, EOT cranes, DG Set, Pump & Sump)
  • Knowledge and work experience on TPM system.
  • Experience of work permit like LOTO and Work at height.

Education & Qualification

  • ITI /Diploma in Electrical (Regular Course) with
    Government issued wireman certificate.

Responsibilities:


  • To upkeep the plant equipment's & utilities.
  • To perform preventive maintenance to support operations.
  • To perform corrective maintenance to support operations.
  • Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve with mínimal downtime to production.
  • Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
  • Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales.
  • Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
  • Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
  • Ensure all work is undertaken to a highquality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations
  • Identify spares requirements and log usage.
  • Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required and provide feedback to develop the system.
  • Make full use of the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Log completion of work on all required maintenance management systems
  • Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
  • Ensure all personal protective equipment is identified, always available, correctly used and all associated problems are reported to management.
  • Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.
  • Understand electrical drawing and schematics and willingness to work overtime.

Salary:
₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
