We are currently searching for a Junior Ethics & Compliance Officer with 2-3 years of experience to help manage our ethics & compliance needs in India.

You will report to the Regional Head of Ethics and Compliance.

This role is for a fixed-term contract of 3 months. Renewal will depend on employee's performance rating and business requirements. Contract shall automatically expire on the last day if it is not renewed or terminated.

What you'll do:

Assist in the design and implementation of the Ethics & Compliance Programme within the businesses
Support and oversee E&C investigations and Openline activity in the region, and monitor corrective actions
Providing information related to ethics & compliance matters
Act as a point of contact for employees who wish to raise an issue via Speak Up and ensure the Group E&C Speak Up process is followed
Ensure ongoing communication and training for all employees
Monitor the effectiveness of the Compliance program and ensure that changes are made to the program to accommodate changing business needs
Maintain a high level of knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations and regularly reviews and update standards related to compliance. These include but are not limited to, OLX Autos corporate policies and procedures, industry trends, and guidance on the country, state/provincial, or local laws
Support and consult the business in identifying, assessing, and mitigating ethics & compliance risks
Support and assist other relevant functions (Human Resources, Finance etc.) so they are aligned with the Ethics & Compliance Programme
Report to the Head of Ethics & Compliance Officer on ethics & compliance developments, gaps, incidents, and the status of the Ethics & Compliance Programme within the business including via the LMS system
Collate relevant information and/or requirements with internal or external key stakeholders to evaluate product risks and present risk mitigation plan to the senior leaders
Develop relationships and work with partners across product, engineering, and business teams to prioritize, scope and roll out launches.
Archive and maintain thorough record keeping of all work

Who we are looking for:

A lawyer with 23 years of experience in Ethics & Compliance/ investigations on breach of policies/ code of conduct
Worked on ethics & compliance program developments, gaps, and incident management/ reporting
