Junior Operations Executive - Kollam, India - AVES
Description
Position Overview:
The Junior Operations Executive will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to our offline art classes and managing the day-to-day operations of the Icepop Art Cafe.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for both customer service and the arts.
Key Responsibilities:

Class Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate art classes, ensuring they align with both instructor and student availability.
- Communicate with instructors and students to confirm class timings and any special requirements.
- Ensure that the art class environment is set up and ready for each session.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the Icepop Art Cafe, ensuring smooth functioning during both peak and nonpeak hours.
- Manage inventory and supplies for both the cafe and art classes.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Staff Supervision:
- Coordinate with cafe staff and art instructors, ensuring everyone is aware of their schedules and responsibilities.
- Assist in training new staff members on cafe operations and class coordination.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Support marketing efforts by promoting art classes and events within the cafe and through social media channels.
- Assist in organizing and promoting special events, workshops, and exhibitions at the cafe.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain records of class schedules, attendance, and customer feedback.
- Prepare reports on class participation, customer satisfaction, and inventory levels.
- Handle billing and payment processing for art classes and cafe sales.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and suggestions for improving the cafe and class offerings.
- Foster a welcoming and creative environment that encourages repeat visits and customer loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of art materials and techniques (preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic administrative software.
- Previous experience in operations or customer service roles (preferred).
