Join our Macquarie Insurance Facility (MIF) team and play a key role in performing daily tasks to support the MIF Data Operations team within Macquarie Group while growing your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.

MIF is an aggregated insurance buying programme sitting within Macquarie Asset Management which was originally created to deliver portfolio benefits to Macquarie owned and managed assets.

Through its scale and buying power, the team has delivered more than US$265m savings to participating businesses.

In addition to the Macquarie assets, MIF is now accessed by over 45 Private Equity firms and Infrastructure Funds representing over 800 portfolio companies.

Together, the Macquarie assets and third-party businesses represent over 900 companies and over US$1.6bn of premium spend, making MIF one of the largest buyers of insurance in the world.

Working with team, you will be required to maintain and update day to day processing and data management. You will be working closely with regional/global heads of some of the leading property/casualty insurance companies. You will liaise with brokers globally to ensure data completeness and accuracy is maintained. You will also be responsible for revenue reconciliation of various business entities. You will be assisting team in flagging and monitoring upcoming renewals.

You will also interact with internal stakeholders to understand nuances of insurance renewal process to effectively manage data on various systems.

You will be required to compare policy data from insurers and data systems, flag discrepancies, reconcile and publish final financial draft for approval.

You will be assisting with invoicing process for various business entities. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining and updating the day-to-day data processing and data management functions for the business. You'll analyse insurance data to create, manage and monitor management reports.

You'll be responsible for inputting and maintaining data within Salesforce, ensuring that it is complete and accurate in order to support meaningful reporting Being the team's local data expert, you'll be able to manipulate vast amounts of data for ad-hoc reporting both accurately and efficiently and be the 'go-to' person for data support.


To be successful in this role you'll be required to have bachelor's degree with at least 2-4 years' relevant experience in data analysis and/or revenue reconciliation and prior experience in insurance transactional processing would be an advantage.

You should possess basic understanding of financial exposure and operational risk associated in insurance industry and a high attention to detail.

You should be able to implement discrete projects given clear goals and direction. You'll also bring the following skills and experience such as strong MS Excel skills, Salesforce experience.


You must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, responsive to queries and requests and able to escalate when needed.

In addition, you should have strong interpersonal skills coupled with a strong track record of managing and developing a team.
