Description

Customer Service:


  • Greet patients and assist them in selecting eyewear based on their prescriptions, preferences, and budget.
  • Provide professional advice and recommendations regarding frame styles, lens options, coatings, and other optical products.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and accommodating special requests.

Sales and Product Knowledge:


  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the various types of lenses, frames, and optical accessories available.
  • Utilize knowledge of current eyewear trends and advancements in optical technology to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  • Actively engage in upselling and crossselling to maximize sales revenue while meeting the needs and preferences of patients.

Optical Dispensing and Fitting:


  • Accurately measure and record patients' pupillary distance (PD) and other necessary facial measurements to ensure proper lens alignment and fit.
  • Assist with frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings to guarantee optimal comfort, functionality, and aesthetics for the patient.
  • Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance to prolong the lifespan of their glasses.

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor inventory levels of frames, lenses, contact lenses, and optical supplies to prevent stock shortages or overages.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to replenish inventory as needed, ensuring a diverse selection of products for patients to choose from.
  • Conduct regular audits and organize displays to maintain a neat, wellorganized optical retail space.

Administrative Duties:


  • Process sales transactions accurately using the hospital's POS (Point of Sale) system, including handling payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining sales records.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and performing other administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hospital to facilitate seamless patient experiences and promote interdisciplinary care.

Salary:
From ₹9,000.00 per month
