Construction Material Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic purchasing team.

In this role, you'll be the linchpin connecting our ambitious designs with the materials that make them stand tall. You'll collaborate with internal teams, negotiate with vendors, and ensure a smooth flow of construction materials, contributing to our projects' timely and cost-effective completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with project managers and engineers to understand material needs and specifications

Sourcing and researching potential vendors for various construction materials

Negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors, securing the best deals for the company

Placing purchase orders and managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries and quality control

Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting future needs, proactively addressing potential material shortages

Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities, including invoices, contracts, and purchase orders

We're looking for someone who:

Has 2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field, preferably in the construction industry

Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effectively navigating complex logístical challenges

Is a master of communication, excelling in both written and verbal interactions with diverse stakeholders

Has a keen eye for detail and enjoys maintaining accuracy in record-keeping

Is proficient in Microsoft Office and construction purchasing software
