  • 1. Develop customer, industry, and market insights to drive thought leadership and innovation in 2W segment
  • 2. Garner consumer insights to feed into product strategy (for existing and new product development)
    A purpose driven role for you
  • 1. Conduct & lead market and consumer surveys (product, sketch and pricing clinics, new category and market exploration, current market and product diagnostics, feature pricing/conjoint)
  • 2. Identifying shifts/trends in consumer behavior and preferences through category need understanding, impact of macroeconomic trends and other relevant sources (like historical sales data mapping) that unlock growth
  • 3. Identify potential white spaces in 2W segments that feed into long term product plan
  • 4. Leverage existing studies i.e. U&A, IPF, MQS to guide product initiatives
    A Day in the life
  • 1. Decoding the voice of customer to clearly understand what they intend say mean want.
  • 2. Translating voice of customer into business actions
  • 3. Giving a consumer centric thought process to colleagues from nonconsumerfacing functions
    Academic Qualification & Experience
  • Graduate + MBA (marketing or consumer strategy) background in psychology or analytics will be a positive
  • AND 68 years of experience in the consumer insights roles at organizations that have a strong product focus or have worked with such organizations as a research partner from reputed agencies

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Forward thinking & the ability to foster innovation & creativity, while also maintaining a clear sense of business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills (problem solving acumen), ability to distil insights & propose relevant recommendations
  • Preferably a mix of client side & agency side. 12 years of working on the client side (in MR/CMI role) with exposure to both adhoc & continuous researches would be an advantage.

Behavioural Skills

  • Strong collaborator who can work and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Effective and impactful communication & relationship skills including the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally both up & down within the organization
  • Presentation skills
