Duties


The incumbent under direct supervision of Maintenance Supervisor, will perform general machinist tasks to fabricate and repair metal jobs at post Hyderabad (Office building as well residences).

He will use various types of conventional and special machines to be these jobs. Perform a verity of welding assignment using different welding processes. Incumbent shall work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications and Evaluations


Requirements:


EXPERIENCE:

Must have a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in job work with metals with a reputed organization.

Certificate in welding from an institute is mandatory.


JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Must have worked for metal structure frames and other different types of welding techniques - arc welding, gas welding soldering etc.


Education Requirements:


Mandatory:
Minimum completion of middle school (class 10th is mandatory).


Evaluations:


LANGUAGE:

Mandatory:
English: Level 1 (Rudimentary verbal skills). This may be tested.

Telugu/Hindi:
Level 3 (Good working knowledge: speaking, reading and writing). This may be tested.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Different welding and repaid techniques. This may be tested.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Hyderabad, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

HIRING PREFERENCE ORDER:
