The Role:
Compliance Officer
Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): Grade 9
The Location:
Pune
The Team:
The Compliance team in primarily based in Mumbai and has compliance related responsibilities for S&P Global Ratings team (& affiliates/vendors) in India.
The Impact:
Overseeing compliance adherence for Ratings India Businesses.
This role has great regulatory focus and may involve dealing with regulators across the globe.

Responsibilities:
Advising employees at Ratings India (Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Gurgaon) on S&P's compliance policies and sharing with them a global perspective on the same.
Monitoring the adherence to compliance policies and exceptions thereof using qualitative and quantitative mechanisms including appropriate dashboards.
Provision of monthly and quarterly reports to the seniors around the output and results of surveillance and monitoring activities, as well as key compliance issues.
Conducting reviews of potential policy breaches and/or anomalies of regulatory consequence. Imparting policy related trainings to employees in various forms - induction trainings, refresher trainings, ad-hoc trainings, etc.Coordinate closely with the other control functions on all issues pertaining to Ratings India businesses and ensure complete policy adherence.
What We're Looking ForExcellent oral and written communication skills.
Individual should be confident of conducting in-person trainings for large group of employees.
Individual should be detail oriented and have the ability to review and analyze data and information.
Ability to comprehend and provide solutions for Compliance related matters.
Good to have Tech skills - Data Science/Tableau/Python
Additional Note / Our Hiring Manager says:
Travel—25% of travel time expected for this position (within and outside India on a regular basis)
Mandatory compliance work experience of 2-3 years managing Compliance/Risk/Audit related affairs for a multinational bank or an organization in the BFSI space with global operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Professional degree in accounting, secretarial, management or equivalent
