Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Track and understand changes in Onboard System and SW requirements, system and SW architecture, test system and test software architecture and interfaces.
  • Prepare, execute, and verify test cases (Manual and automated) in order to systematically find faults.
  • Run riskbased, scenariobased, and exploratory testing sessions.


  • Documentation

  • Including documentation verification.
  • Maintain Test Environment and test improvements

Required Skills (Technical Competency):


  • Experience with blackbox testing (subsystem testing, system testing)
  • Experience in Embedded system testing, preferably Safety critical systems.
  • Understanding/Knowledge of communication protocols
  • Understanding of Hardware software integration and installation activities.
  • Good understanding of hardwareSoftware integration.
  • Knowledge of the OS GNU/Linux and/or FreeBSD
  • Experience working with test Hardware and test benches,

Desired Skills:


  • Knowledge in safetycritical embedded systems, SW architecture(s) and safety engineering is a plus.
  • Ideally, knowledge/experience in railway domain and/or safety critical testing
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication.
