Job Overview:


Responsibilities:


Student Support:


  • Provide emotional guidance and support to playgroup students, fostering their social and emotional growth.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address specific concerns or challenges faced by playgroup children.

Parental Engagement:


  • Foster open communication with parents, offering guidance and resources to support their understanding of and involvement in their child's emotional development.
  • Organize workshops or sessions to educate parents on effective parenting strategies and techniques.

Collaboration:


  • Work closely with playgroup teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive environment for both students and parents.
  • Provide feedback to teachers and parents on effective strategies for addressing behavioral and emotional concerns.

Behavioral Observation:


  • Observe and assess children's behavior, identifying any potential emotional or developmental concerns and collaborating with teachers and parents to address them.

Crisis Intervention:


  • Be prepared to handle and appropriately address any emotional or behavioral crises that may arise within the playgroup setting, offering support to both students and parents.

Documentation:


  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, behavioral assessments, and any interventions implemented.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in counseling, particularly in an early childhood or educational setting.
  • Understanding of child development, with a focus on social and emotional milestones.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and parents.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing of both young children and their parents.
  • Certification and experience in counseling or relevant field is a plus.

How to Apply:


Salary:
₹10, ₹30,000.00 per month
