QA Delivery - SAP Master Data Tester

  • Purpose & Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Participation in Test Scenario and Test Case identification
  • Creation and Maintenance of Test Scenarios and Test Cases
  • Identification and Maintenance of Test Data
  • Execution of Functional and System Tests
  • Documentation of test execution utilizing HP ALM
  • Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration related defects.
  • Perform preliminary trouble shooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution
  • Documentation of defects utilizing HP ALM
  • Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead
  • Qualifications:
  • Required: 3-4 years of testing experience specializing in the area of SAP Master Data.
  • Experience in retail SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge in SAP MM & SD would be desirable.
  • Experience working with offshore/onsite model & demonstrated ability to work in a global environment.
  • Ability to understand the business process relating to SAP Master Data and map into test cases.
  • Ability to interact with customers regarding business and technical information technology needs.
  • Experience using HP Quality Center/ALM.
  • Exposure to software testing methodologies (requirements understanding, test scope identification, test case Design, test execution, defect management).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive participation in Team environment
  • Effective documentation and communication skills.
  • Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of clients and customers.
