Responsibilities:


SMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER

THE ROLE**:

As a member of the Radeon Technologies Group, you will help bring to life cutting-edge designs.

As a member of the GFX IP Architectural Modeling team, you will work closely with the Architects, IP Design, Software and Infrastructure teams, and product engineers to achieve first pass silicon success.


THE PERSON:


KEY RESPONSIBLITIES**:


  • Performance Modeling and Development of GFX IP Simulators
  • Synthetic Testcases Creation, Verification
  • Performance Characterization of HPC/ML workloads
  • Middleware Driver/Firmware and Hardware Interface Protocol Development
  • Runtime Profling and Debugging Tools
  • Post silicon support to ensure successful silicon bring up

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:


  • Domain Knowledge: GFX IP fundamentals,
  • Shader Programming,
  • Cache/Memory Subsystem,
  • Compilers, Drivers, Memory Management,
  • GPU Scheduling mechanism,
  • Performance Models using C/C++,

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:


  • Bachelors or Masters or PhD in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
