Profile Introduction:

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute creative pastry and dessert menus in line with the resort's culinary standards and guest preferences.
Oversee the production and presentation of all pastry items, ensuring quality and consistency.
Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
Train and supervise pastry staff to ensure efficient operation of the pastry kitchen.
Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to create cohesive menus and dining experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance pastry offerings.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and creativity to develop innovative pastry creations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the resort's operation.
