It is a comprehensive Cloud service offering in the enterprise software industry, spanning Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

OCI is currently building a future-ready Gen2 cloud data management platform.

At the core of this platform is the 'Data and AI platform', a modern AI-based data management platform that is built from the ground up, lies the Cloud Data Catalog, Cloud Data Integration, Data Access and several OCI native services and solutions for enterprise data.

OCI Data Catalog service is a key strategic service among data services, it is a metadata management service that helps data consumers discover data and improve governance in the Oracle ecosystem.

Data consumers can easily assess the suitability of data for analytics and data science projects.

Your Responsibilities
As an integral part of the OCI development team you will be responsible for the following

Design, develop, and maintain cloudbased infrastructure and platform solutions for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability
Implement and maintain infrastructureascode solutions, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Drive one or more complex areas and do a detailed design of some components.
Working with remote and geographically distributed teams to enable building the right products, using the right building blocks and making them consumable by other products easily
Be very technically handson and own/drive key endtoend product/services Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our cloud capabilities and drive innovation

Your Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent related fields.
Strong understanding of infrastructureascode tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates)
Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Travis, CircleCI) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Elasticsearch, Logstash, Prometheus, Grafana)
Strong understanding of network and security fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, and Must have knowledge on security / Certificates / Encryption including in transit and at rest.
Should have very good Operating system expertise on Linux/RedHat
Working knowledge on DevOps, Agile development processes, exploration, POCs and new solution development, deployments.
Understanding of cloud networking concepts like VCN, VCP and VNet
Prior experience building cloud services.
Familiar with Java opensource and API standards.
Strong problemsolving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.
Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the Agile process will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in the Data Catalog domain would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of the Cloud, and Data Catalog will be an added advantage.

As a member of OCI cloud service, you will assist in designing, developing and supporting production environments. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
