Description
Quality Control Management:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, inprocess materials, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Establish inspection criteria and quality checkpoints throughout the production process.
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Quality Assurance Protocols:
- Design and enforce quality assurance protocols to prevent defects and maintain product consistency.
- Collaborate with production managers to develop corrective action plans for nonconforming products or processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
Team Leadership and Training:
- Lead a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement within the factory.
- Conduct training sessions on quality control procedures, standards, and techniques for factory personnel.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO, FDA).
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product quality and safety.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
Supplier and Customer Relations:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and consistency of incoming materials and components.
- Address qualityrelated concerns and inquiries from customers, providing timely resolutions and support.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their quality expectations and feedback.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and costeffectiveness.
- Utilize quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to optimize processes and reduce defects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8 years) in a quality control/assurance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Elevator manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulations relevant to the industry (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality products.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
