Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to join our ice cream manufacturing company.

As an Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and control of inventory levels, ensuring accurate records, and optimizing inventory processes.

Your primary goal will be to maintain efficient inventory operations to support our production and distribution activities.


Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished ice cream products.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify the accuracy of stock levels and identify discrepancies or variances.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss, spoilage, or theft.
  • Utilize inventory management software or systems to track and manage stock movements and transactions.

Record Keeping and Documentation:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate inventory records, including stock counts, receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and trends.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify patterns, forecast demand, and suggest improvements to optimize inventory management.

Team Management and Collaboration:


  • Supervise a team of inventory clerks or warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, warehousing, and logistics, to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.

Process Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control, including efficient storage, labeling, and rotation techniques.
  • Propose and implement system enhancements or technological solutions to improve inventory management efficiency.

Health and Safety Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all inventoryrelated activities.
  • Promote and enforce safe working practices to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Working Knowledge of Petpooja (POS software) and or any other equivalent software
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software or systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:
₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
