Software Installation and Maintenance:
A DBA is frequently involved in the initial installation and configuration of a new SQL Server, or another database.
Creating and maintaining database standards and policiesData Integrity Management:
A database administrator (DBA) is in charge of ensuring the integrity of data stored in a database.
Extraction, transformation, and loading of data: A database administrator (DBA) is in charge of a database's performance. This includes making data available when needed and safeguarding it against unauthorized access.
Monitoring usage, transaction volumes, response times, concurrency levels, etc.
Monitoring Performance:
A Database Administrator analyzes database performance to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Designing database backup, archiving, and storage strategy
Data Handling:
A database administrator is in charge of planning, implementing, and managing the systems that hold data for a company.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with relational data systems (e.g. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Experience in writing complex Stored procedures and performance tuning.
Experience managing and tuning production databases.
Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
Experience integrating data through extract, transform, load (ETL) process.
Experience with infrastructure as code practices (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
Experience with cloud data systems.
Advanced understanding of database theory and structure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Information
Good to have Familiarity with programming languages API
Advanced certification as an MCDBA or MCSD for.
NET is advantageous.
Certification in PostgreSQL has desired
Salary:
Up to ₹3,000,000.00 per year
