The Opportunity:

Premier International is hiring an experienced Splunk Administrator to join our growing offshore team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting one of our large SaaS providers in maintaining their Splunk instances

Creating, modifying, and deploying Splunk apps to facilitate the security log processing

Monitoring the resource usage and the capacity of the Splunk instance closely can collaborate with the MonC team to scale up/down the cluster when necessary

Troubleshooting Splunk performance issues and stability issues

Provide technical support and answer questions from Splunk users.

Work with customers and support to resolve bugs and support issues.

Commitment and emphasis on operational excellence.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience

System administration experience and cluster administration experience on large-scale Splunk instances

Experience with public cloud services (AWS or Google Cloud or Azure)

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Proficient in scripting languages such as Linux shell or Python

Preferred experience in Terraform, ansible, and Spinnaker

Strong knowledge of security concepts:
Authentication/Authorization frameworks (e

g:
SSO, SAML, OAuth), Secure transport (e

g:
SSL, TLS), Identity management (e

g:
certificates, PKI)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail
