Description

As a Quality Controller in the Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electric vehicles produced by the company.

You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control measures throughout the production process, from raw materials inspection to final product testing.

Your primary objective will be to maintain high standards of quality, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively with various departments to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance procedures for all stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and subassemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor production processes closely to identify any deviations or issues that may affect product quality. Take proactive measures to address these issues and prevent defects.
  • Coordinate and perform rigorous testing and analysis of EV components and systems, including battery packs, motors, electronics, and chassis, to validate performance and reliability.
  • Implement effective defect detection systems and procedures to identify and address quality issues promptly. Work closely with production teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspection results, testing data, and corrective actions taken. Generate comprehensive reports on quality performance and trends for management review.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to incorporate feedback and lessons learned into future product iterations.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of supplied components. Conduct periodic audits and evaluations to assess supplier performance and address any quality issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, standards, and certification requirements pertaining to electric vehicle manufacturing. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facilitate the certification process as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality control or assurance roles within the automotive or manufacturing industry, preferably with exposure to electric vehicle technology.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA).
  • Familiarity with electric vehicle components, systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and testing data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Adaptable and resultsoriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

Salary:
₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
