JobBrief:

Responsibilities:

MoodleDevelopment: Develop customize and maintain our Moodle LMS to meetthe universitys evolving needs. This includes the development ofcustom plugins themes and integration of thirdparty tools andapplications.
ELearning Solutions: Collaboratewith instructional designers and faculty to create innovativeelearning solutions. Ensure that digital content is interactivepedagogically sound and accessible to allstudents.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thoroughtesting and quality assurance of elearning modules and the LMSplatform ensuring compatibility across various devices andadherence to web accessibilitystandards.
Technical Support: Provide technicalsupport to faculty staff and students troubleshooting issuesrelated to Moodle and other integratedtechnologies.
Training and Documentation:Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for facultyand staff on using Moodle effectively for teaching andlearning.
Research and Development: Stayabreast of the latest trends and technologies in elearning andMoodle development recommending and implementing innovativesolutions to improve the learningexperience.

SkillsRequired:

Bachelors degree in computerscience Information Technology Educational Technology or a relatedfield.
Proven experience in Moodle developmentincluding customization and plugindevelopment.
Strong proficiency in PHP HTML CSSJavaScript and SQL.
Experience with webservices and integrating thirdparty APIs intoMoodle.
Understanding of instructional designprinciples and elearning standards (such as SCORM andAICC).
Excellent problemsolving skills and theability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
Strong communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively witha diverse group of stakeholders.
Familiaritywith agile development methodologies and version control systemssuch as Git.
