Department

You will be part of the South Asia, Regional Aftermarket Sales Team who are dedicated to sell Spare parts in assigned customer region.

By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in a multinational organization and in an environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Sales to understand customer's expectations, with Proposals, Engineering, Product line managers, Procurement & Services functions to develop and provide cost competitive price bids.
Expertise in Estimation and Purchase Process, Cost Saving Methods, Vendor Evaluations & Selection for both Local & Global sourcing.
Accurately estimate the correct cost for supply and service, adopt professional negotiation techniques, identify right source who can deliver to FLS' quality standards for all types of supply and services.
Familiar with FLSmidth 's terms of Sale
Terms and Conditions, Incoterms, entire process of souring and supply according to FLSmidth guidelines
Ensure timely completion of assigned jobs and make highly qualitative cost estimation documents.
Provide detailed cost sheets with full back up documents to proposal / sales as needed.
Record keeping and storage of all cost estimation and historic cost data in a organized and structured manner in a central data storage system.
Strategic sourcing techniques, develop price agreements with vendors, adopt best practices by learning across the organization to achieve Excellence in cost estimation function to increase the probability of winning the bids.
Study engineering drawings and prepare the cost estimation RFQs and send to competent vendors. Coordinate with vendors along with category and procurement team to obtain most competitive prices from vendors, contractors, and best delivery.
Visit customer sites, vendor workshops whenever required along with sales, proposal, procurement teams.

What you bring- Collaborations skills - Strong relationship with vendors and internal teams to support Service Sales to achieve Sales and Business goals.- Technical Skills - Proficient in Customer RFQs, knowledge on vendors & their expertise, preparing vendor RFQs, vendors Quote Analysis, Cost & time estimation & Optimization and preparation of commercial bids.- Familiar with latest Incoterms, Logistics, foreign currency conversions- Market Intelligence and Analytical skills - Expertise in analyzing commodity price trends, analyze & leveraging price fall and communicate to stake holders.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in mechanical /Production / Manufacturing / Industrial engineering discipline from a reputed university

Experience

10-15 years of experience in Estimation to support Service Sales.

Basic Knowledge in Minerals Processing Products, Proprietary & Critical Parts, Assemblies/Sub-assemblies, Engineered Retrofits, services to offer value-based proposals to customers.
