Travel Insurance Sales Representative


Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Prospect, qualify, and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online inquiries.
  • Educate customers about the benefits of travel insurance, including coverage options, policy features, and pricing considerations, to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and tailor insurance solutions to meet the specific travel requirements and preferences of individual customers.
  • Present and promote travel insurance products effectively, using persuasive selling techniques and product knowledge to address customer concerns and objections.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting key selling points and value propositions.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with customers, ensuring accurate completion of all required documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Follow up with leads and prospects in a timely manner to maintain engagement and nurture relationships throughout the sales process.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers, including answering inquiries, resolving issues, and processing policy changes or claims as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, claims adjusters, and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and changes in insurance regulations, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and influence customer decisions effectively.
  • Goaloriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Insurance licensing and certifications may be required, depending on local regulations and company policies.
