Responsibilities:


  • Utilize proficiency in video editing software to create compelling films, TV spots, and government films.
  • Collaborate with the inhouse cinematography team to understand and meet project requirements.
  • Select appropriate footage from the company's extensive database to match the narrative and concept of each project.
  • Demonstrate a keen sense of storytelling through video editing, ensuring mass targeting concepts suitable for national news channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance editing techniques and creative capabilities.
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new project ideas and approaches.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in documentary, TV spot, or government film production.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the cinematography team and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of mass targeting concepts and audience preferences for national news channels.
  • Detailoriented with a keen eye for selecting appropriate footage to enhance storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work on a stable, longterm basis.
