Summary of Role:


Area Training Executive will be responsible for overseeing the sales training program and managing the training needs at the stores.

The person in this role will work closely with the retail teams to identify training gaps and opportunities to upskill the teams, drive performance and enhance the culture of the stores.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Have an excellent understanding of Store Operations, Store SOPs and Customer Handling skills.
  • Facilitates in store training modules and follows up on the completion of modules (Refresher Training/ In Store Modules)
  • Drive Performance at Stores
  • Support New Store Opening Training
  • Plans and executes training initiatives through weekly visits to all the stores in the assigned region
  • Highlights training related issues timely to key stakeholders [OJT Incharge, RM and L&D]
  • Supports regional training initiatives.
  • Communicates effectively cross functionally and cross levels
  • Having a thorough understanding of developing and certifying new hires and existing staff and follow up with them
  • Handling all trainee & Staff related issues during in store training
  • Ensuring attendance data of trainees is compiled and sent to relevant stakeholders timely
  • Conducting training audits/ assessments
  • Preparation, Circulation & Collation of training reports
  • Maintain all training records

Job Requirement

Functional Competencies:


  • Minimum of 36 years of experience in retail sales training, preferably in a multistore environment.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Experience of training delivery and management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong creative thinking, ability to understand the business requirements and produce new ideas, concepts, and material that suit the needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems.
  • Willingness to travel
