The opportunity


You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand project requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of cloud and IT infrastructure knowledges to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business.


Your key responsibilities

  • Work on cloud computing services IaaS, PaaS & SaaS, migrating workloads to Azure. (Azure Migrate or other tools).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting and automation via AZ CLI/PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, Bash, Bicep.
  • Work with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps, Jenkins for Develop, integrate, test & deployment.
  • Logical thinking, troubleshooting, presentation, and communication skills with strong drive for results.
  • Develop skills on Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud and will to constantly grow, learn and enhancing the skills in this area.
  • Automate the change management of the supporting infrastructure.
  • Gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on the understanding of a domain or technology.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Should be strong about the Azure concept's and should be well versed with Development, Test & Implementation of Azure infrastructure components using IaC.
  • Good understanding on Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, VM Scale sets, Storage, Azure SQL, App Services, Backups etc.
  • Should have experience in working with Hybrid Cloud/Infrastructure model.
  • Knowledge on Windows & Linux/Unix Administration concepts.
  • Knowledge in scripting, preferably PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, YAML and cloud automation.


  • Configuration Management

  • Puppet, Chef, Ansible, PowerShell DSC
  • Should have intermediate to expert knowledge in developing CI/CD pipelines using_ _Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in design, develop and deployment of the cloud services using different templates such as ARM template, YAML for large scale deployments.
  • Having intermediate to expert level on Terraform for build, plan, deploy Azure infrastructure will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in managing Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML.
  • Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience, a plus.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Has successfully demonstrated domain of most skills and technologies during a large number of relevant projects
  • Strong experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure)
  • Proven experience in delivering Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Confidently uses most of the related skills and technologies, and maintains an indepth knowledge of the area
  • Experience support and maintenance of existing cloud environments/developed solutions.
