The Company was originally incorporated on October 16, 1998 as Oswal Agloimpex Private Limited in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and was converted into public limited company in 2006.By 2013, the Company's turnover had crossed INR 6 billion equivalent to USD 100 million, and has expanded to 10 manufacturing locations, all located in Gujarat, India.

Plastene currently exports to around 30 countries and derives close to 65% of sales from international customers. Currently Plastene is the second largest FIBC bags manufacturer in India

Roles & Responsibilities

Develops and implements the organization's financial strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
Manages relationships with investors, analysts, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Coordinates audits and liaises with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
Ensures compliance with financial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Analyzes financial data, market trends, and economic factors to make informed financial decisions and forecasts.
Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial performance metrics.
Prepares financial reports, statements, and budgets, and provides accurate and timely financial information to the management team.
Identifies and manages financial risks that may impact the organization's operations, such as market volatility, currency fluctuations, and liquidity risks.
Manages the organization's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Analyzes key financial metrics, profitability, and costefficiency to identify areas for improvement.
Communicates financial performance, business strategies, and key developments to shareholders and the investment community.
Participates in investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations.
Leads the development of quarterly sales volume, operational expenses, cash flow forecasts and any required budgetary revisions.
Manages fundraising plans and capital structure.
Leads and develops a highperforming finance team, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
Upgrades Credit Rating.
Ensures timely Capital/Fund Raising from Banks through Term Loans / CC etc.
Around years of experience out of which atleast 5 years in a leadership role or similar
Proven experience as a CFO / Lead in a similar leadership role in a company with a turnover of minimum Rs. 300+ Cr.
Preferably experience in a Public Limited Company.
Demonstrated experience in successful fundraising activities, including IPO readiness.
Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards,
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting model
Proficiency in accounting software
ERP/Software
Excellent analytical and decisionmaking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
