Job Description:

Experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers for machining, casting, and forging parts.
Finding out potential suppliers for new projects, sending getting quotes from suppliers. Analysis of quotes received, making comparison, locating best cost supplier, negotiation for the price and terms.
Cost estimation of new parts for benchmarking and Identifying cost saving opportunities with suppliers
Knowledge of Procuring commodities Ferrous and Nonferrous and raw material for Casting, forging, machining, heat treatment
Key responsibilities include Supplier Relationship & Performance Mgmt., Cost Mgmt., Risk/Compliance Mgmt.
Key deliverables include yearonyear material cost reduction, localization, long term supplier capacity, contracts/agreements coverage, ontime delivery of NPI program
Manage of Vendor information in the database that may include supplier onboarding, supplier data change/ addition and other accounting information.
Possess strong abilities in Supplier Development for desired quality levels and in process feasibility study to direct supplier in right direction.

Key Skills

Price negotiation, longterm pricing contracts and Deal with invoice discrepancies
Price adjustment with suppliers upward / downward based on the RM price change.
Analytical Skills and Knowledge on Incoterms and Logistics procedure
A minimum of 57 years of experience in Purchasing machining and casting parts
Strong communication skills, a team player, and Project Management skills
Good organizational ability to prioritize and do problem solving, fair number of years of experience in a purchasing.
Fluent in English
