Description

Refrigeration Engineer/Scientist

Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies have an opening for a
Refrigeration Research Scientist/Engineer in the Heat Transfer laboratory of HITC
facility.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to

Good understanding of thermodynamic cycles, refrigeration and heat transfer
Strong understanding of numerical techniques. Desirable to understand analytics such as optimization technique, such as Genetic Algorithm.
Handon demonstrable experience one computer programming language (FORTRAN most preferred). Experience of using MATLAB and VBA is plus.
Experience of working as a team with experimentalists to get the necessary data and validation of modelling results with laboratory data.
Command on written and spoken English. Publication in top journals in thermofluid domain.
Experience of working in global project teams is preferred.
Perform other duties as required.
Responsible for handling all related job responsibilities in accordance to HSE policy. Participates in the invention/discovery process with professionals***
Experience/Education/Qualification
Qualification: MS or PhD in thermal/mechanical/chemical engineering with specialization in mathematical modelling of thermofluid systems.
12 years of postPh.

D. experience in related field, post-doctoral included or 4+ years of post-MS experience

Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and follow through on commitments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A creative yet pragmatic problem solver. Methodical and handson as well as detailoriented.
