JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:
Internal Auditor

A

Purpose of the role:

To help the organisation identify risks and control gaps by planning, coordinating and performing Internal Audits and help the Internal Controls team and Management to define improvement actions to mitigate risks.

The job role covers both legal units in SKF India.

Responsibilities

Plan the audits based on risk assessment, management inputs, etc.
Define the internal audit scope for each audit to be conducted and get it approved from the Global Head
Internal Audit
Coordinate and drive audits performed by external Audit firms and perform certain audits (planned by Global Head
Internal Audit)

, to assess the process effectiveness, reporting reliability and compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and regulations.

Prepare audit reports for the Audit committee, for inhouse audits.
Give recommendations to operations for mitigating risks observed.
Ensure Maintenance and updating of database for audit observations, audit reports, etc.
Conduct Investigations for whistle blow complaints assigned by the Global Head
Internal Audit

and submit investigation report relating to the same.

B. Metrics

Delivery: Completion of audit plan.
Delivery: Completion of assigned Investigations.
Productivity/efficiency: Timely issue of audit reports for the AC presentation.
Productivity/efficiency: Smooth coordination with external firms for completion of audits as per audit plan.

C. Competencies

Ability to assess risks in processes and problem solving.
Analytical Thinking
Data analytics capabilities in Digital Analytics tools required.
Business Acumen
Communication skills
Good at interpersonal relationships
High level of Integrity

Degree in finance

CA or CMA is a must. Additional CIA certification is preferred
Data analytics experience in Analytics tools like ACL required.
Five years, or more, work experience
