IT Desktop Support Executive (Third party Payroll Job)

The System Administrator will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Implementongoing infrastructure maintenance and improvements. Responsible for scheduling maintenance and systems upgrades. Respond to support requests. Assist in providing timely system and Data recovery.
Execute patching, file restores and event log reviews.


Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and administer all computers and devices connected in network.
  • Daily monitoring of different systems, UPS, EPABX, Switches and Internet links. Raising support tickets with respective vendors for issues found and solving them.
  • Responsible for daily Backup/recovery of servers and file data residing on different systems.
  • Filling the daily checklist and RCA based on monitoring and findings.
  • Maintaining and updating inventory as per the register format.
  • Interacting with vendors for solving issues, getting service, delivery, getting Quotes and
- processing payments for procured services and equipment. Also submitting the summery of details.

  • Install, configure and Administer Windows server with different services and roles (AD, DHCP,DNS WSUS, Etc).
  • Creating users, groups and deploying group policy via windows Active directory and creating mailboxes in Office 36
  • Finding the H/W and S/W requirements for users and infrastructure.

Delivers excellent Customer Service; effectively prioritizes work; logical and methodical in dealing with issues.
Skills

  • Communication skills.
  • Should have fair knowledge about Office 36
  • Should poses strong knowledge on windows server2008/2012 roles AD, DHCP, DNS, WSUSand implementing Group policy.
  • Knowledge of networking TCP/IP protocols, WAN topologies
- should have strong knowledge on backup and restore concepts (knowledge of software's like Symantec, net vault is preferred)


Qualification

  • Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
  • MCP certification or MCSA course completion.


  • Two

  • Three years relevant experience in system administration.
