_Process Associate/ Process Developer, Insurance UW_

_Responsibilities_
_ _
_Thoroughly review submission requests to identify / validate submission vs referral. Record and refer those that are outside the guidelines to the underwriting department for approval._
_ _
_Register only new business submission directed to underwriter/designated mailbox. & update all relevant information in the system._
_ _
_Ensure that turnaround time and quality of documents meets Company service standards_
_ _
_Once the registration is completed, submission is released to designated Underwriter._
_ _
_Manage and maintain records including correspondence and data files_
_ _
_Provide customer service to underwriters, operations staff across the country(s) and other functions within Tango. Contact internal resources to research and resolve issues_
_ _
_Take ownership for work-in-progress issues as an individual and team member by continuously looking for ways to improve/streamline work and procedures which increase the efficiency of the team. Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met._
_ _
_Queue Management - Effectively monitor and manage queue in absence of team leads._
_ _
_Perform quality audits & sharing RCA on escalations received._
_ _
_Monitors, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers._
_ _
_Client Facing Role - Leading weekly discussions on operations with Canada stakeholders_
_ _

_Qualifications we seek in you_:

_Minimum qualifications_
_ _
_Graduate / Postgraduate - Any with good problem solving skills_
_ _
_Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems_
_ _
_Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment_
_ _
_Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work_
_ _
_High level attention to detail and accuracy with high customer service orientation._
_ _
_Good Communication & written English skills_

_MS __Excel Skills - Intermediate_**

_Preferred qualifications_
